Complete collection of unstrung heads.
The Thompson Lacrosse Company was founded in 2014 by a group of like-minded members of the lacrosse industry from the Akwesasne Mohawk Reserve and Upstate New York with a goal of creating a business that celebrates the heritage of the sport and gives lacrosse players around the world access to lacrosse products that will help preserve the Iroquois lacrosse culture.
Through a partnership between Akwesasne's T19 Sports and other members of the lacrosse industry, the Thompson Lacrosse Company—also known as Thompson Lacrosse—brings together some of the most passionate figures in the Mohawk lacrosse community.
In the spring of 2014, the company is entering the market with the Thompson i6, a head designed to pay homage to the Iroquois lacrosse tradition and engineered to be an outstanding head for a wide range of field and box lacrosse players. With the launch of ThompsonLax.com in the coming weeks, Thompson Lacrosse will also offer some of the best traditional wood lacrosse sticks available today, as famous Mohawk woodworker Jack Johnson—currently considered the next great stick maker—will make their handcrafted sticks available exclusively through the Thompson website.
Additionally, Thompson Lacrosse will carry a unique and wide selection of stick stringing materials, including components available exclusively through ThompsonLax.com. Through a partnership with some of the best stick stringers in the Upstate New York region, Thompson Lacrosse will also offer custom stick stringing, providing an unmatched combination of quality work and swift turnaround time.
The first of its kind King lacrosse head has been scientifically engineered to feature a longer face length and wider scoop allowing for a tighter string down the sidewalls. The result? A perfect channel for increased shot power and faster transition time out of the pocket.
